Cherry Banana explains Abstinence
People may choose abstinence for a number of reasons, including dealing with a break-up, outside pressures including work and family, or even just a need to not be involved with others. Well-known forms of abstinence are choosing to remain a virgin before marriage and religious officials who forgo sexual involvement. It is also often a cornerstone of sex education, despite the fact that it has been proven to be an ineffective teaching method in stopping people from having sex.
