5 Tips For Travelling With Sex Toys

Sometimes when we travel, we miss the comforts of home. If your trip is purely for pleasure, you might not have such a desire of wanting, but if you’re away on business, you might really miss your bed, your couch and all of your other pleasures. And one of those things you might really miss is your sex toy collection!

Now, depending on your toys of course, and how many you have, you don’t have to leave them at home. Maybe you want to bring a choice few along for those lonely nights on the road. However, if you do decide to bring some of your little sex friends with you, keep some of these tips in mind.

Use zip-lock bags

As you pack your sex toys, it is a good idea to also pack some zip-lock bags. If your toys are the types that need lube, it is smart to have these plastic bags just in case you have to leave your hotel quickly or in case your clean up job isn’t the most thorough. You don’t want to show up at an important meeting with lube or your own fluid smeared across your nice clothes. It is also a good idea to carry your lube in a plastic bag. That stuff can leak all on its own.

Be careful how you carry them

Another thing to consider is how you carry your sex toys. You may not want to put them in your luggage, but it is definitely not a good idea to keep them in your briefcase. Can you imagine opening your bag at the meeting only to have your favourite dildo roll out onto the conference table? You’re supposed to make an impression, but this might not be the one you want to make. (Unless you’re lucky enough to work as a dildo sales rep).

Don't forget the batteries

Batteries are also something to remember - in two ways. First, either pack some extras or locate where to buy some before you settle in for the night in your room. There is nothing worse than being all worked up at midnight in a strange town with no store in sight. At the same time, be sure to take the batteries, fresh or not, out of your vibrators before you travel. In much the same instance as an uninvited dildo at a meeting, a surprise buzz can be problematic. You know, at an airport or even on an airplane, a misplaced electric hum can make for a terrible scene.

Buy them at your destination

You could, if you’re financially able, go a different route. When you get to your destination, pick up a brand new sex toy. And if you’re really paranoid about travelling with it, just throw it out or leave it behind. This might seem a little frivolous, but you would certainly avoid all of the above situations. Of course, if this is your plan, make sure there is a store or website that’ll deliver to where you’re going to be (like us for example)!

Use your fingers and hands

And of course, don’t forget that you do have the easiest, non-embarrassing sex toys of all right at your fingertips.
